In a statement, the Ministry of Finance indicated that Kochouk will meet with several G20 counterparts and representatives from major economic, financial, and international banking institutions during the meetings. Discussions will focus on the current global economic structure and its impact on investment and trade flows, as well as development efforts in developing and African nations.
The ministry added that Kochouk's extensive agenda in
Washington includes exchanging views on policies to alleviate debt burdens and
servicing for developing countries. He will also discuss the significance of
creating additional fiscal space to support sustainable development and climate
action.
Furthermore, Kochouk will outline the Egyptian government's key fiscal and economic policy priorities, present the latest indicators of Egypt's improving economy, and emphasize investment opportunities and the growing role of the private sector in economic, investment, and trade activities.
