Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of the Public Business Sector, met at the Ministry's headquarters in the Administrative Capital with Engineer Sherif Abdel Fattah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tawakol Electrical Company (Gila), and Mr. Mokhlis Tawakol, CEO of the company, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation.

The meeting discussed potential areas of cooperation between Gila and the Ministry's subsidiaries in several fields, including the textile industry, metal industries, real estate development and contracting, as well as infrastructure and clean energy projects. They also discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects based on smart solutions and advanced technologies in the fields of electrical equipment manufacturing, building management systems, surveillance cameras, and smart buildings, keeping pace with global industrial development and supporting sustainable development goals.

Shimi stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with leading companies in the private sector, noting that the Ministry is open to all forms of constructive partnerships that contribute to the development of national industries and achieving industrial integration. He added that the Ministry is working to open new horizons for cooperation with the private sector, based on its belief in the importance of integrating roles in driving development, supporting the state's efforts to transition to a green economy, promoting local manufacturing, attracting more investments in this field, and achieving sustainability in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.

Engineer Abdel Fattah expressed the company's aspiration to cooperate and partner with companies affiliated with the Ministry of the Public Business Sector in the fields of solar power plants, medium and low voltage distribution panels, contracting work, building management systems, surveillance cameras, and smart buildings. This will contribute to supporting the national economy and opening new horizons for local manufacturing and technology transfer.
