Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly announced today, Saturday, that the political leadership has directed the swift completion and handover of various projects in New Alamein City.

Madbouly stated that assignments have been issued to the specialists in the concerned authorities to overcome all obstacles and provide all necessary facilities to complete these projects according to the set timelines and hand them over.

During a meeting at the New Alamein City authority headquarters this morning, at the start of his inspection tour of New Alamein City and the Northwest Coast, Madbouly stated that concerned authorities have been tasked with overcoming obstacles and providing necessary facilities to ensure project completion according to schedule. The meeting, attended by Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny and other ministry officials, focused on reviewing the progress of various development projects in the region.

The Prime Minister emphasized the state's significant focus on New Alamein City as a fourth-generation city, highlighting its role as Egypt's coastal capital and the nucleus of the Northwest Coast development plan. He noted the ongoing implementation of numerous major multi-use projects within the city, encompassing residential, commercial, service, administrative, tourism, and cultural sectors.

During the meeting, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny detailed the progress of the ministry's multi-level housing projects in New Alamein City's first and second phases. He highlighted the completion and operational status of essential service buildings in the second phase, including two mosques, a church, a basic education school, a nursery, a five-a-side football field, a real estate registry office, and the first phase of Alamein National University. Several other service buildings, such as a family medicine center, schools, and nurseries, are currently under construction.

Regarding utility networks, the Minister affirmed the completion of all remaining works, including electricity, water, sanitation, irrigation, and rainwater drainage networks, and their connection to the completed and operational projects, which are now ready for use. He also stated that the remaining road network works for the city's first phase are finished, and landscaping is nearing completion, with a target for full completion before next June.

El-Sherbiny stated the aim to establish an educational identity for the city through collaboration with existing universities and by attracting new ones. He also highlighted the goal of attracting medical tourism via distinguished medical facilities.

During the meeting, Dr. Madbouly also reviewed the progress of the Tourism Villages Authority projects, including the status of housing projects like Marina 8 (M8) and M8 By The Lake, as well as the Bogaz New Marina Lakes project within the marine connection initiatives. The meeting also covered the progress of the strategic plan for the Marina Alamein tourist center and the ongoing project to develop the archaeological area in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Additionally, the executive status of the efficiency improvement and development works at the Marina Alamein center was noted.

The Prime Minister also followed up on the progress of work and land handover in the first phase of the New Ras El Hekma area, as well as ongoing projects there. He also reviewed the latest developments in road and utility works (including road, water, sanitation, and electricity) for the alternative lands in the urgent phase of the "Shams El Hekma" area, which are allocated to current residents of Ras El Hekma City. The planned alternative area will include residential, service, commercial, and investment zones, along with the main road network.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister reviewed the latest land development works by the New Urban Communities Authority in the new urban cluster west of El Dabaa, including alternative lands and financial compensations for current residents.
