Engineer Sherif Abdel Badie, Chairman of the New Sohag City Authority, and officials from the Authority's Agriculture Department inspected the maintenance work on the city's main roads and the implementation of a 455-acre agricultural project. He directed a study of the agricultural and landscaping works on the road leading to the city's western entrance, emphasizing that the work be carried out in accordance with technical specifications and completed as soon as possible.
Dr. Engineer Ahmed Ismail Gabr, Chairman of the New
Obour City Authority conducted a night inspection tour of several main squares
and green spaces to monitor the progress of agricultural and beautification
projects in the 2,600-acre area and the 14th district.
Gabr monitored the afforestation and landscaping work
in several key areas of the city, including the development of vital squares.
He also monitored the condition of roads experiencing heavy traffic and ensured
the quality of beautification and landscaping taking place throughout the New
Obour City.
He stressed the need to adhere to regular maintenance
of green areas and to ensure the use of the latest irrigation technologies,
which requires intensified efforts to preserve trees and plants. He emphasized
the importance of involving residents and civil society in supporting these
efforts by preserving developed areas and avoiding harming public facilities,
ensuring the continuity of development work and maximizing its benefits.
Engineer Ashraf Fathy Mahmoud, head of the New Damietta
City Authority, and officials of the authority inspected the development and
maintenance work on the coastal road, stressing the need to expedite the
completion of work according to specifications and adhere to standard testing
of work items.
He also inspected the ongoing development work in the
public beach area, which aims to improve and expand the roads and develop the
walkway, fence, pergolas, and parking areas. In addition to following up on the
implementation of the electricity and lighting network for the New Damietta
waiting area, he directed the removal of obstacles, with the implementing
company increasing the pace of work, the number of workers, and equipment to
expedite completion of the work to serve the city's current investments.
Engineer Marwa Hussein Amin, Head of the Sheikh Zayed
City Development Authority, inspected the general condition of the Third
District, Al-Bustan Road, and the Central Axis, in accordance with the regular
traffic schedule for the city's neighborhoods and districts. She monitored the
axes and roads, as well as the parks between buildings, building skylights, and
main streets.
She monitored the general maintenance work within the
scope of the tour, including green spaces and roads, stressing the need to
intensify cleaning efforts, remove agricultural waste, maintain sewage systems,
and remove encroachments.
She met with a number of citizens to listen to their complaints and demands. She directed Authority officials to study citizens' complaints and work to resolve them as quickly as possible. She also directed Authority officials to continue daily inspections throughout the city and strive to provide the best services to the residents of Sheikh Zayed City.
