El-Sobky said, "The Authority is keen to participate in such major global events to enhance international cooperation, explore partnership opportunities with major global technology companies, and transfer expertise and innovations that will develop the healthcare authority model in Egypt." He added, "We aim to benefit from international experiences in the fields of artificial intelligence, early diagnosis, and telemedicine, which will support the comprehensive digital transformation within the Authority's facilities and contribute to the provision of smart and sustainable healthcare."
He stressed that the CMEF exhibition is a platform for exploring
investment opportunities and transferring advanced medical technology to the
Healthcare Authority. It enhances the consolidation of the smart healthcare
model within the Authority's facilities. It represents a golden opportunity to
explore innovative products and open up cooperation with manufacturers,
suppliers, and service providers from around the world. It is also a key
platform for launching new products and solutions to a specialized global
audience.
El-Sobky's tour, on Wednesday, included visits to several pavilions
of leading participating companies, most notably: Northern Meditec, Hangzhou
Health Shining Electronic Technology Company, Mindray, FLLOY Technology Company
(Kwangzhou), and the Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare pavilion.
He also conducted several specialized meetings to learn about the
latest technologies in the fields of home care, personal health, wearable devices,
elderly care, and robotic surgery. The aim was to gain insight into the latest
medical technology in these fields and explore ways to employ them within the
Authority's facilities. He was accompanied during the visit to the exhibition
by Dr. Amir Al-Talwany, Executive Director of the Healthcare Authority.
El-Sobky’s participation in the CMEF exhibition is his second
participation, as he participated in the 90th edition of the exhibition in
2024, and his participation this year comes within a comprehensive strategic
plan adopted by the authority to enhance its international presence, explore
investment opportunities and transfer advanced technology, in a way that
supports the expansion of local manufacturing of medical devices and supplies,
and establishes the smart health care model within the authority’s facilities. The
participation also reflects the Authority's commitment to building a resilient
and sustainable healthcare system that aligns with the highest international
standards and is capable of keeping pace with future changes and challenges in
the healthcare sector.
