The discussions centered on potential collaboration in sustainable smart transportation for new cities within Greater Cairo (integrating with rapid transit), broader transportation integration between new cities and surrounding governorates, and innovative solutions for waste recycling and the interconnectedness of transportation, parking, pedestrian infrastructure, and traffic control.
The Swedish Ambassador conveyed his country's interest in
supporting these initiatives and other national housing projects aimed at
Egypt's sustainable urban growth.
The two sides concluded by agreeing to a series of follow-up meetings between their working groups to elaborate on the discussed topics and establish frameworks for enhanced cooperation.
