Madbouly emphasized that this meeting comes in light of the interest in periodically monitoring the implementation of the government's offering program, within the framework of implementing the State Ownership Policy Document. This will contribute to achieving the state's goals of empowering the private sector and enhancing its role in the national economy through greater participation in project implementation in targeted sectors.
Counselor Mohamed El-Homosany, the official spokesperson for the
Prime Minister's Office, stated that the meeting reviewed the results of
cooperation and coordination on joint work files between the Ministries of
Electricity and Renewable Energy, Investment and Foreign Trade, and the
Sovereign Fund of Egypt. These efforts include identifying promising investment
opportunities in the energy sector and promoting them effectively, with the aim
of attracting more investment, particularly in the fields of new and renewable
energy.
He indicated that the meeting also dealt with the projects that the state will exit from, in preparation for presenting them for partnership with the private sector, especially in the field of new and renewable energy, which receives great international attention.
