The protocol was signed by Dr. Mohamed El Okaby, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity, and Laila Hosny, Executive Director of the Sawiris Foundation.
The protocol aims to achieve economic empowerment for
university youth through training and qualifying 2,000 final-year students
annually, providing job opportunities in various institutions, and implementing
a comprehensive marketing plan.
Dr. Morsy praised the ongoing cooperation with the Sawiris
Foundation, emphasizing the importance of social solidarity units in
universities. She affirmed that the goal is to provide diverse services to
students and prepare them for the labour market.
Dr. Mohamed El Okaby stated that the protocol aims to
establish foundations, frameworks, and mechanisms for cooperation between the
two parties to support social solidarity units in Egyptian universities.
The Executive Director of the Sawiris Foundation, Laila Hosny, indicated that this cooperation embodies a shared vision for youth empowerment and that investing in their capabilities is an investment in the future.
