During the visit, the Arab Contractors Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Burundian government to implement a water station project. The agreement was signed by Heba Abul Ela and the Burundian Minister of Energy, with Hassoun in attendance. The Burundian Minister of Finance also met with the delegation to discuss financing options for the project.
This agreement reflects the ongoing efforts of the Association of Egyptian African Businessmen, led by Dr. Yasser El-Sharkawy, and the Arab Contractors Company, led by Engineer Ahmed El-Assar, to expand Egypt's contracting industry into African markets and foster new avenues of cooperation across the continent.
