These new rates will be reflected
in gas bills starting this month. According to the new prices, the price of a
cubic meter of gas has jumped from 0 to 30 cubic meters to 3 Egyptian pounds
per meter, instead of 260 piasters.
The price per meter for a consumption tier of more than 30 meters and up to 60 meters has increased to 4 Egyptian pounds per meter, instead of 335 piasters. While it has reached 5 Egyptian pounds per meter compared to 4 Egyptian pounds for the consumption tier above 60 cubic meters per month.
